How do I determine the accuracy of the soil pH value?

(1). Acidic/Slightly acidic(4-6)- Mixed soil/ compost/new fertilized soil.

(2). Neutral (6-7) - Natural soil.

(3). Slightly Alkaline/Alkaline (>8)- Hard, solid clods ground into dirt.

How to testing soil pH?

Insert the soil tester probe into the soil and read the scale in 2-5 minutes, make sure the soil is slightly moist, not dry or too wet.

Why soil meter not work/pointer does not move?

(1). The soils with a high percentage of one material (include full water soils).

Don't test slurry soil! Hard soil! Plant ash! With plenty of roots and less soil potted plants, or water plants.

(2). The soil meter has been damaged in transit.

Why the pointer move back when I add water？

Depending on how loose the soil is, if watering will loosen the soil, pick up a soil moisture meter before watering and insert it a few minutes later.
